Many news sources are coming out and saying that Madonna’s new clothing line with her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon, called “Material Girl,” could be competition for Selena Gomez’s upcoming line “Dream Out Loud.”
“Material Girl” will be available for purchase at Macy’s stores and online at Macys.com, and there is no word yet on where Selena’s clothing line will be sold. Selena has promised that her line will be affordable, and so will Material Girl – ranging from $12 – $40 per piece.
Both lines will include shirts, shoes, accessories and more.
Material Girl has teamed up with the brand Iconix, which has also been linked to both the Bongo and Candie’s brands, as well as high-end designers, including Badgley Mischka.
Selena’s line is done on her own.
Selena’s line is more girly/boho and it is assumed that Material Girl will be “trendy.”
