Justin Bieber chats with Katie Couric from CBS news about how he got started after uploading his songs to YouTube for his family members to watch and then getting discovered and becoming the star that he is now!
Turns out Justin was first contacted by talk show host Maury Povich to be on a talent competition and his mom turned it down! Justin’s mom was also very skeptical of anyone who contacted them about Justin’s career, but luckily Justin’s current manager was able to convince Justin and his mom that this was the right move!
Justin also talks about all of the instruments he knows how to play, his hair (Bieber Swoosh!), and where he thinks his career will head in the future.
