It sounds like the end of the Disney Channel Original Series “Hannah Montana” is coming just in time – before Miley Cyrus can’t take it anymore!
Read what Miss Miley had to say, in a recent interview, about her acting in the Disney Channel Series:
“What I am sure about is I’m going to rejoice and be happy to finally not have to be … well, to not be somebody I’m not exactly. As I’ve grown into it, I’ve grown out of it. When I was 12, I thought, ‘I want to be famous all the time! I want everybody to recognize me!’ I can’t breathe looking like that anymore.
A friend came by the set one day and said, ‘You don’t look very happy.’ I said, ‘I’m feeling claustrophobic in all these frills. I hate being thought of as a product. I am not a doll, and people want to treat me that way… I’m older now. I have an opinion. I have my own taste.”
Ouch! C’mon Miley, you don’t have that many more episodes to film – lets try to enjoy it for a bit more, before it’s gone forever! Don’t let your fans down!

Its sad really….but this just shows how “It’s All About Me” she is…Like i’ve alway known.
Your right, Hannah made her what she is today. So its stupid of her to not want to be HM anymore. It’s like using someone to get what you want then throwing them away. So she’s still stupid to me.
I only actually buy HM’s songs. I never liked her. in the begining it was because I thought her dad probably bribed Disney to get her the lead. The i learned that wasnt true. I still hated her though, lol. then I saw the “Party In The USA” video. talk about s.l.u.t. !

Isn’t acting pretty much pretending to be some? I do agree that Hannah Montana gave Miley her start, but a person is allowed to grow and do other things.
I don’t even know what to say it’s always about her she’s needs to realize she wouldn’t be here if it weent for hm she’s wouldn’t be in the last song she wouldn’t be dating Liam or any of the other crap if it weren’t for hm….she’s so stuck up it’s sickning i like the show but I really don’t like her! I’m 16 and if I were her I would be happy with what I got she’s cocky and fame gave her a really big head….it was already big to begin with
I agree with the above comments – while I don’t think she has to want to play HM anymore (because she is growing up and it makes sense she would want to move onto more mature roles), she should at least be grateful it gave her her start. You don’t hear Demi or Selena complaining about being on Barney when they were little, even though obviously they wouldn’t want to be on Barney now. And anyway, it’s easy to say, “Oh when I was 12 I wanted to be a star but now I hate it blah blah blah and I don’t want it anymore” because guess what, she already is a star! (If she wasn’t a star, I bet she’d still be saying she wanted to be one!) Also, Miley should recognize that a lot of her fans are upset that HM is ending. Will they still be her fans after the show ends? Maybe, but not if she keeps acting like a spoiled brat who’s too good for the show that made her the star that she is.

yes everyone knows that hannah montana is what gave miley her fame and succsess today. but you have to think, would miley be famouse for her singing today with out hannah montanta? i love her and hannah but i do think she is getting a bit to old for the ‘top teen pop sensation’ kind of image!

“I hate being thought of as a product.” Um, you ARE a product. Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus are copyrighted names now. She needs to grow up. She’s in a business, so yes, she is in the market- SHE IS A PRODUCT.
I’ve seen artists who’ve been in the business longer than her and are much more successful who even say so- “I’m a product, so it’s my responsibility to do such and such.”
