Toy Story

Toy Story is where we first met the characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear – who are owned by the boy, Andy. Woody is Andy’s number one toy, until Buzz comes along, and then let the competition begin! It might take a while for Buzz and Woody to warm up to each other, but when they do they create the best of friendships!

But not before a few mishaps take place!

We also can’t forget about all of the other toys! From Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head to Rex the dinosaur, Slinky Dog, Hamm and Bo Peep to the army men and green aliens in the claw machine!

In the first Toy Story movie Woody and Buzz get kidnapped by Andy’s next door neighbor Sid Phillips who likes to experiment on toys! While the two devise a plan to escape, Andy drives away with his family to his new home – but will Buzz and Woody be able to make it onto the moving truck and meet Andy there? Or will the two lose their owner forever?

This is a heartfelt, warm and fun movie that is fantastic for the entire family. These toys come alive on your television and make you start looking a bit differently at the toys you have in your own home!

Toy Story 2

The adventure continues in Toy Story 2. Andy is forced to leave Woody behind when he heads off to summer camp because Woody’s arm has been ripped off. While Woody is trying to save one of his fellow toys from being sold in a yard sale a toy collector finds him and takes him back with him to fix his arm and put him on a shelf.

At the collectors home Woody meets new characters Jessie, Bullseye (the horse) and The Prospector.

Buzz teams up with Andy’s other toys and they head off on an adventure to try to save Woody. And we can’t forget to add that Buzz meets another Buzz Lightyear who has no idea he’s a toy! Too funny!

Will the toys be able to join up by the end of the film?

Both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are perfect movies for the whole family and are out now to get you excited for the release of Toy Story 3 to theaters on June 18, 2010. So has it worked? Are you excited? We know we are!
