It is being reported that Angelina Jolie may be interested in playing the role of the evil queen Maleficent in the new “Sleeping Beauty” movie directed by Tim Burton and written by Linda Wollverton (who wrote Tim Burton’s new “Alice In Wonderland” film).
The new Sleeping Beauty film will be told from the side of Maleficent, rather than Aurora like the Classic Disney Movie.

Disney and Bedrock Studios are teaming up to adapt the novel “A Wrinkle In Time” by Madeleine L’Engle for the big screen.
The screenplay will be written by Jeff Stockwell while Cary Granat and Catherine Hand will produce. Executive Producer for the film will be Madeleine L’Engle’s daughter, Charlotte Voilkis.
The book is about a teenage girl, her classmate and her brother who travel across both time and space and work together to save their father as they are assisted by three mysterious women – Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which, and Mrs. Whatsit.
Looks like we’re going to have to dig up our copy and read it again before the movie comes out!
