The Disney Channel has ordered a second season of the Playhouse Disney series “Jungle Junction.” The new season will consist of 26 episodes and will begin airing in 2011.
The show is about a group of fun-loving half animals half vehicles who explore a unique jungle on wheels. The characters teach viewers about protecting the environment.
The Senior Vice President of Playhouse Disney Worldwide, Nancy Kanter, said:
“‘Jungle Junction’ has become a global success for Playhouse Disney, with preschoolers and their parents embracing its characters and unique jungle world. We are eager to continue working with our UK production partners at Spider-Eye to bring more adventure-filled episodes to kids around the globe.”
Jungle Junction airs on Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney at 10am ET/PT.
A new ABC Family Original Movie will be hitting the airwaves in July and stars Raven Symone and Joanna Garcia. The movie is called “Revenge of the Bridesmaids.”
The two actresses play best friends who return to their small town to learn that one of their “frenemies” is marrying a guy their friend loves. Uh oh!
Raven and Joanna’s characters go undercover as bridesmaids to sabotage the wedding!
The movie is produced by the same people who produced the upcoming Hilary Duff ABC Family Original Movie “Beauty And The Briefcase” and is directed by Jim Heyman, who directs ABC’s “Ugly Betty.”

Demi Lovato will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the ABC series “Grey’s Anatomy.” It is being reported that her character is a schizophrenic patient at Seattle Grace Hospital.
Her character is said to be placed under the care of Dr. Karev (played by Justin Chambers) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw).
The episode is said to be set to air in May 2010. Are you excited to watch Demi on the show?
