Vanessa Hudgens will be playing the character Mimi in the upcoming production of “Rent” directed by Neil Patrick Harris.
The show will run for three nights and Vanessa’s character is a drug addicted, stripper – which is a very different character than we are used to her playing.
NPH said about Vanessa’s new role:
“I look forward to audiences seeing a dark, edgy and very different side of Vanessa Hudgens this August.”
