How is he ALWAYS so good?!
David Archuleta performed at the annual BritWeek last night (April 22). BritWeek is a celebration of the accomplishments of those of British heritage in the entertainment industry.
David sang John Lennon’s “Imagine” and the song “Prayer for the Children.” You can watch clips from both performances in the video below. Let us know which is your performance (we don’t blame you if you say they are both so good you can’t choose!).

Ha… darn right…not choosing and he looked spiffy in that suit!
Sure hope whole videos show up as well!
You are right, you CANT choose. Both songs are inspirational, amazing and so different. Every time he does Imagine, I cry. I saw him sing Prayer Of The Children live during Christmas From The Heart tour and I cried every single time. And I saw kids, teens, adults (men and women) cry in David’s concerts too. He opens his heart and by doing that he opens the hearts of every single person who listens to him. He make you feel hope, he fills you with love and faith in good. That is a magic, a power and a pure talent of David Archuleta.
They were both beautiful I think it is Prayer of the Childre written by Kurt Bestor.
I can’t choose either. He is truly amazing. By the way I love his hair!!!!!
Choose? I don’t have to and I’m not gonna, except to choose to be David’s fan forever. (And, man, he’s lookin’ gooood!)
Yes, as everyone knows his image is clean cut, inspiring and caring. Not just images, his conducts are very unusual for celebrities, and many young people and adults admire him for what he has shown as a respectful youngster. Watch this video where he and Jonah, 6 year old with rare disease, sang a duet. Everyone cracked up. haha.
Here is a more close-up.

David fans had garage sales for fund-raising to support Jonah’s family. He is really a positive force to reckon with.
I hope there’s more video out there today with the whole songs. I love both songs but I think I love Prayer of the Children more. Maybe it’s because I’ve heard that one live and not Imagine…yet.
david archuleta is the real deal….no auto tune needed.just his angelic voice is sufficient enough to gives me chills everytime i listened to him.david is simply the best and i loved both songs.thanks for your support to our dearest david archuleta.you made the right decision!!!
Nope, can’t choose. They are both stellar! I really hope to get to hear the songs in their entirety. He looked so spiffy in that suit. I’m so happy he got to attend and perform.
WOW!!! Just amazing the way he connects with a song! Every time he sings them they are a little different! That Archuleta voice! There is nothing like his love performances!
I especially love Prayer of the children mainly because he sings it acapella and that takes such skill. You only have your pure voice to project to the audience. Besides it’s such a beautiful song.
I have to agree with DavidArchieFan’s comment. When David sings Imagine – he has me in tears. It’s an amazing song that can only be sung by a unique artist with a beautiful soul. John Lennon would be proud.
Thanks for the video, he did great! Now I really need to hear the new single asap, running outa patience!
David did a fantastic job with both songs! I also saw him sing “Prayer of the Children” at one of his Christmas concerts. He did such a fantastic job singing it! No one can sing “Imagine” as well as David can. David Archuleta is an amazing talent! Love him!!
David Archuleta always amazes me with his voice. Can’t for his memoir, June first!
Thanks for putting the video up-nope, can’t pick just one!
I can’t wait for it, eithier.
Thanks for the video of David singing! I love his voice and wow is he handsome!!
Thanks for the great post! I inhale any news, videos, articles or anything about David Archuleta. I loved both songs he sang…like I love anything that comes out of his mouth. David isn’t just a cute, young celeb. He’s the real deal. The guy can SING, and sing WELL.
My only complaint about your post is the OLD, OLD picture you used. David is 19 now and has about a zillion fabulous pictures out there. Please get up to speed and use some newer ones. This one has never been a favorite of mine and has worn out its welcome.
he is the best!!!!!
