“Tombstone” Blu-ray DVD Review

We got really excited when we put this movie in our Blu-ray player and realized that Bill Paxton from “Big Love” had a role! So we’re extremely excited to bring you our review of “Tombstone” on Blu-ray.

“Tombstone” was recently released by Touchstone Home Entertainment and includes a number of great actors:

This is one of the last good Western movies that was made. The film is directed by George P Cosmato’s and is a retelling of the Wyatt Earp story. The movie has a lot of action and shooting, as is typical of movies about cowboys, but there is nothing quite like experiencing the film on Blu-ray.

The scenes come alive and you feel as though you are immersed in the movie, living the film right along with the characters.

The main character in the movie, Wyatt Earp played by Kurt Russell, arrives in a new town hoping to start his own business and build his own life. He becomes a marshal and begins pursuing the cowboy gang that is continuing to terrorize the towns people. But will he be able to stop them without being terrorized by them himself?

There are also a number of women in the film, each with a different role. It was interesting to us to see how strong all of them were, which is not typical of traditional western films. There was of course the woman of every mans dreams, and then there were the women the men were married to, but something about these women all seemed very modern compared to what we expected from this film.
