Disney’s Sterling Knight, who starred in the hit Disney Channel Original Movie “StarStruck” and works alongside Demi Lovato on the series “Sonny With A Chance,” also has a band for fun with his friend Matt Shively.
Because Sterling works for Disney and Matt works for Nickelodeon (“True Jackson, VP”) the guys cleverly call their band “Connecting Channels.”
We recently spoke with Sterling about Connecting Channels, and this is what he had to say:
“I have a YouTube page. Me and my buddy Matt Shively have this ‘band’ that’s not even really a band. We have one cover up online, its called ‘connecting channels,’ that’s the name of our band.”

Disney XD has just gotten the go ahead to air a second season of the live-action series “I’m in the Band.” The show premiered in February of this year and is about a teenage boy, Logan Miller, who joins his favorite old rock group. Logan works with the group to try to get them to have a comeback!
Production for the second season of “I’m In The Band” is set to begin in June. Will you be tuning in?
