Rumor has it that Marvel Studios is currently in talks to produce a number of smaller scale movies based on some of its lesser-known comic characters.
It is being reported that unlike Marvel Entertainment’s larger expected blockbusters these films will have a much smaller budget, somewhere in the range of $20-$40 million each.
There have been hundreds of Marvel characters created over the years who have appeared in a number of Marvel comics – but right now it is only speculation which characters Marvel will decide to turn into film stars.
With the lower budgets of these films it will be interesting to see which actors the studio picks to play the superhero characters. Currently the studio is getting outrageously popular celebrities to play the roles because they have the budget to pay them, and perhaps these smaller budget films will lead for less-well-known, but still highly skilled, actors to turn up on the big screen.

Disney/Pixar has certainly stepped up their marketing campaign for their upcoming expected blockbuster “Toy Story 3.”
In the movie, a number of new characters have been added to the lineup of Toys we have already met in the “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2″ movies. One of the characters is named “Lots-O-Huggin’ Bear.”
To promote Lots-o, who we are assuming is one of the characters in the movie with a lot of camera time, Disney/Pixar has used their marketing expertise to release the commercial below.
In the ad you will see kids with the “Lots-O Huggin’ Bear,” brining him to school, sleeping with him at night. And the commercial claims to be from 1983. But guess what? It’s not!
Disney/Pixar created the fake “old” ad to promote the new Toy Story 3 character – watch below and let us know if you would be fooled into thinking this ad was in fact a vintage commercial or if it’s obvious to you that it’s a fake!

A new episode of the Jonas Brothers’ mini series on the Disney Channel “Living The Dream 2″ aired recently, this episode is titled “Rockin’ Acts Of Kindness.”
In the video you can hear Nick, Joe and Kevin talk about how they give back to their own community and to their fans around the world. From inviting kids to their show to meet them as part of the Make A Wish Foundation program, to visiting hospitals all over the world to meet with fans who couldn’t make it to their shows.
The JoBros also discuss their own foundation “Change For The Children.” Each brother works to raise money and awareness for a cause close to him. Nick raises money for diabetes, Kevin raises funds for volunteers for DoSomething.org and Joe raises money and awareness for the Special Olympics around the world.
We love seeing all the good some of our favorite celebrities are able to do even when they live such busy lives. Watch the video below and let us know the number one reason you love the Jonas Brothers!

On April 25th the song “Can’t Back Down” from the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” aired on Radio Disney and various other music stations around the world.
While we have already shared with you the music video for the song – which you can watch here – we now have the full HQ version of the song.
Included on the track are Disney pop princesses Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner and Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, along with a number of other Disney Stars.
Unfortunately the Jonas Brothers (Nick, Joe and Kevin) are not included in the song, even though they are a huge part in the DCOM “Camp Rock” franchise. We’re assuming this song happens early on in the film before the JoBros turn up back at camp, but that’s just our guess. What do you think?
We can’t wait to see Joe Jonas’ character Shane and Demi Lovato’s character Mitchie interact in the new Camp Rock movie!
