While Disney’s Corbin Bleu ends his run in Broadway’s “In The Heights” on July 25th, a new star will be added to the lineup on August 19th – Jordin Sparks!
Jordin will be performing on the stage for 12 weeks (ending November 14) as the character Nina Rosario. This is Jordin’s Broadway debut.
Jordin said about joining the cast:
It’s always been one of my dreams to perform on Broadway. This is a brand new experience for me. I look so forward to spending time in New York City and joining this talented cast and my favorite new musical.
In The Heights is about a vibrant and tight-knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan. The music pulses with the hopes and dreams of three generations as they struggle to forge an identity in a neighborhood on the brink of transition.

I think David Archuleta said he got interested in singing when he watched the 10th anniversary edition of “Les Miserables” at 6, and the first song he learned was “Castle on a Cloud”. He loves watching Broadway shows. Congrats Jordin! Have fun!! It will be a great experience for your career.
