Ok, we are utterly upset that LOST is ending for good this month, but it’s a bit of a consolation that the final episode has been extended by 30 minutes – making it 2 and a half hours long!
The finale episode will run on Sunday, May 23rd from 9-11:30pm, bumping the local news. Right after the episode airs Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting a finale special titled “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost.”
According to the producers, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, they have shot so much crucial material for the show that they can’t cut out anymore.
Oh and one more interesting LOST tidbit – in a recent interview Damon said that they built an entirely new set for the finale, and that the ending will prompt more questions for viewers. So even when LOST ends they want viewers to be aggravated – nice.
