Disneyland’s Rivers of America attraction is open again after a 4-month rehabilitation period.

Walt Disney Imagineer Kim Irvine, said about the rehab:

Through the years, the river had grown rather eclectic. The scenes and sets didn’t really tell a clear story.

The attraction will now depict four regions based on famous American rivers:

- Mississippi
- Columbia
- Potomac
- Rio Grande

During the rehab the attractions’ river was drained and over 4,000 new shrubs and trees were added. There are now also 26 animal figures along the shore and a new narration during the ride.
