It is being reported that ABC has acquired the rights to the long-running CBS show “Ghost Whisperer.” The show stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and has an extremely large following.
So far, ABC is still trying to figure out its plan of action for the show, but we’re glad it has been picked up regardless of what happens! What about you?

Thank you ABC, I now have a new favorite network! The followers of this show will not let you down, lets put it up against medium on Fridays, it will kick its butt. This has been my favorite show for 5 years now and I am glad it will continue into a 6th and beyond.

I am extremely grateful to ABC for picking up Ghost Whisperer for a Sixth Season. My mother and I are huge followers of Jennifer Love Hewitt and it’s been a long time since we’ve found a TV show that we’ve been so devoted to. We started watching “Ghost Whisperer” ever since the very first episode and haven’t missed an hour of it and it continues to keep us entertained and on the edge of our seats. So thank you for such a terrific show that my mother and I can enjoy together!

Stupid move by ABC the show has crap ratings now and when a show moves to another network the ratings go down more. Im happy its coming back but lets hope the writers are now smart enough to know to write a proper series finale for next yr
Ghost Whisperer is an AWESOME show!! I will be thrilled if ABC picks it up! Especially now that I’ll be able to watch them over & over again on the ABC Ipad application!

Ghost Whisperer CANNOT be cancelled!! I just heard today and now there are hopes that ABC will pick it up!!
Lets hope abc does pick it up, i am an avid watcher and so is my mom and we even got my sister and her bf hooked on it!!!!!

THEY DID NOT GET PICKED UP. ABC and CBS released a statement. Why are you people not listening? Whoever wrote this obviously did not research, because it was NEVER confirmed and was always just a rumor. There will be no new season. LOOK IT UP.
I realy love Ghost Whisperer and was completely gutted when I found out they were axing the show, but this little ray of hope will keep me going! I just told my 9 yr dau (ari) that i just found out the Ghost Whisperer will not be coming back on and if you could have heard, she was like what i love that show mom. That was our 1 hr of tv together (mom & dau time). We had just started watching the show in March of 2009. I truly hope that abc will bring it back.
its now october 28, 2010 ghost whisperer is not airing on abc. in may when ghost whisperer was canelled by cbs, abc wanted to sponner the show. first they say that they are going to pike up on ghost whisperer then they say they are not. and on wikiepia, when you look up ghost whisperer it said “renewed” and this was thursday oct.27, 2010 that i checked. now its friday october. 27, 2010, and it says “canelled”! ITS NOT FAIR! LOOK AT ALL THESE COMMENTS AND OTHERS ON OTHER SITS ABOUT THE SHOW! EVERYONE MISSES IT! PLEASE BRING IT BACK! ABC YOU ARE CONFUSING EVERONE!
