It is being reported that ABC has acquired the rights to the long-running CBS show “Ghost Whisperer.” The show stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and has an extremely large following.
So far, ABC is still trying to figure out its plan of action for the show, but we’re glad it has been picked up regardless of what happens! What about you?

I am extremely relieved that ABC has decided to pick up Ghost Whisperer. Now I can say that I’d be OK with a 13- or 16-episode season 6 stint that’d appear mid-season. That may be the way to go to develop stories and hangers that would make a season 7 really great. Either way, I am relieved now and plan on watching ABC now. So much for CBS. Big mistake cancelling those 7 series, 4 of which I watched. I’m just saying…

So very glad ABC picked up GW! The show has lots of growth opportunity in including so much “room” for name guest stars. Incredible number of unique plots/story lines remain available for the show. Look for to seeing ABC “grow it” vice CBS letting it simmer.

That’s how much I love this show. It’s what our family does on Friday nights. When it’s not live, we actually often watch a taped re-run, just so we can have our popcorn and home entertainment. This is actually the only show our family watches together — so THANK YOU, ABC, for making the world a more joyful place for Ghostwhisperer fans.

I’m glad to hear the show is being given a reprieve but ABC, please hire some capable writers for this show!. The only thing that has held this thing together for the last three years is Jennifer Love Hewitt. She has remained the constant while everything about this show became completely silly. Please, no more shark jumping everytime there is a slight dip in the ratings. I know it would be hard to get rid of the creepy little kid but please cut a little dead wood from this thing (like maybe people who can’t see ghosts but hear them} and bring the show back into figting trim. I hope this move to ABC is just what this show needed to return to something akin to what it was in the beginning. A great show.
P.S. And until it has established some credible plot lines don’t put it up against Medium or it’s going to lose.

Even though the scripts were formulaic this past season, now that the battle between the Shadows and Shinies has been fought and won (yea! no more putting out the good silver to banish evil), give Ghost Whisperer’s loyal fans something we can sink our teeth into. I sent a mail to the ABC, I am a big fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt. She is my biggest Idol in the world and I love the serie Ghost Whisperer. So when I heard the serie was cancelled I was shocked! So I sended an E-Mail to ABC. I am so happy there is gonna be a season 6!
