Lego is hoping to double its market share in the United States with sales of board games and building sets based on the Walt Disney Company’s “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” and “Toy Story 3.”
Lego first signed its Disney license in the 1950s and is hopping to boost its market share in the US to 7-8% by 2015 from the 4% it has at the moment, according to the company’s CEO, Joergen Vig Knudstorp.
Joergen said:
The American consumer has returned. The U.S. market will be increasingly important for us, it’s the priority.
