Paul McCartney is being honored by being given the Gershwin Prize for popular song in an event held at the White House on June 2nd, which will be hosted by President Barack Obama. Paul is the third recipient of the award, the other two being Stevie Wonder and Paul Simon. The award was founded by the Library of Congress in 2007.
The Jonas Brothers will be playing at the event as will be Stevie Wonder and Jack White. A number of other celebrities will be in attendance to honor the former Beatles member.
The event will be televised on July 28th.

If I ever hear the Jonas Brothers play Paul McCartney, I will bust a vein. Perhaps two.
