In a recent interview with Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, Selena Gomez said that it is thanks to her parents that she is down-to-earth:
Living with my mom and Brian helps me to be down-to-earth and to keep things real. I consult them about everything I do, especially because my mom is my manager. She’s someone who loves me and wants the best for me. So even though I’m living this life and have been given such wonderful opportunities, I still have my parents with me to tell me ‘no’.
