After CBS dropped the hit show “Ghost Whisperer” from its lineup, it was reported that ABC (who helped create the show) picked it up and would be showing it next season. However, it has now been reported that ABC has retracted their decision to continue the series.
Executive producers of the series, Kim Moses and Ian Sander, released the following statement:
After five wonderful seasons and over 100 episodes, we are disappointed to announce Ghost Whisperer will not be returning for a sixth season. We’ve had an incredible experience and owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved. We continue our relationship with ABC Studios and look forward to developing many more successful projects together in the future.
We wonder what happened…
Luckily it has been reported that the show will go into syndication, which sadly means no new episodes, but at least it’s something!
In a recent interview actress Gemma Arterton talked about her role as Princess Tamina in the Walt Disney Pictures’ movie “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.”
She said she couldn’t believe the costumes the stylist showed her that she had to wear for the film, saying:
They were worth more than my house! They were hand-embroidered with gold thread. I was walking around drinking coffee in them, probably not being as respectful as I should. I’m so not Disney princess material. The biggest challenge was being spiritual, soulful and graceful.

Pixar has just announced that it has opened a new branch of its film animation company in Vancouver, Canada. This branch of the company will be in charge of creating animated shorts and television specials – more specifically, the people at Pixar Canada will focus initially on creating shorts and specials about some of Pixar’s most beloved characters from Cars and Toy Story.
We can’t wait to see what projects come out of Pixar Canada and we are also really excited because this offers new Disney/Pixar job opportunities for people living up North! Any chance you’ll be applying to work there?
