Guess even actor Jake Gyllenhaal’s urging couldn’t get people to go see his movie over the “Sex And The City 2″ film since they both hit theaters this holiday weekend. Here’s what each movie pulled in on Friday:
1. “Sex and the City 2″ ($13 million)
2. “Shrek Forever After” ($11.3 million)
3. “Prince of Persia” ($10.3 million)
4. “Iron Man 2″ ($4 million)
5. “Robin Hood” ($2.8 million)
Did you see either of the movies this weekend? What did you think of them?
The Disney Store at the Queensgate Shopping Center in Peterborough will be closing this summer after being open for 15 years. The 10 member staff recently received notice from the Walt Disney Company that it would not be renewing the lease on the store.
One staff member at the Queensgate location said about the store closing:
Disney are offering to ring other shops to help us get jobs but it’s a big shock. Nothing is confirmed yet but we could be closing as early as June 19. It’s very worrying and some staff had been hoping to stay until they retired.
Are you upset about this store closing?

Actor James Corden has confirmed the rumors that he will be starring in “The Three Musketeers” movie. The movie also stars “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor Orlando Bloom and popular young actor Logan Lerman.
James said about his role:
I’m playing Planchet, who’s the three musketeers’ servant. It’s the part that Roy Kinnear played in the first film, so it’s hopefully quite funny, I hope! But I’m very much looking forward to it, it’ll be nice.

In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Ashley Tisdale talked about Disney’s High School Musical character Sharpay, who is coming back in her own movie called “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures.”
She’s still Sharpay, but she’s now the lead of the movie. You used to love to hate her, but now you have to fall in love with her. You get to see why she is the way she is, you see her in a different light. She’s not in college, but she’s supposed to be. She’s in New York City fulfilling her dreams on Broadway.
We can’t wait for the movie! You can read more about it here!
