Walt Disney Pictures Sets Release Date For Muppets Movie!

While it was first announced under the title “The Cheapest Muppets Movie Ever Made,” the only mention we can find on IMDB.com is under the title “The Greatest Muppets Movie Ever Made,” but either way, we’re psyched because Walt Disney Pictures has given the film a release date! The date the movie will hit theaters is December 25, 2011.

The new Muppets movie will be directed by James Bobin from a script written by Jason Segel and Nick Stroller. Jason will be the lead star of the movie.

We’ll keep you posted when more information about the film surfaces!
