Ashley Tisdale “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” Update
Production has begun on Ashley Tisdale’s new movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.” The movie is being directed by Michael Lembeck and is scheduled to air on the Disney Channel in 2011.
The movie stars Ashley as Sharpay Evans, the popular diva we all know and love from the High School Musical movies and film.
Other stars in the movie include:
- Austin Butler (“Life Unexpected,” “Ruby and the Rockits”) as Peyton Leverett
- Bradley Steven Perry (“Good Luck Charlie”) as Roger Elliston the 3rd
- Cameron Goodman (“Phineas and Ferb”)
- Alec Mapa (“Ugly Betty”) as Gill Samms
- Jack Plotnick (“The Mentalist”) as Neal Roberts
The upcoming movie will feature four original songs by songwriters Randy Petersen and Kevin Quinn, Matthew Tishler and Amy Powers, and David Lawrence and Faye Greenberg.
Here’s a description of the movie by the Disney Channel:
“In the movie, a New York casting director spots aspiring thespian Sharpay Evans performing with her dog, Boi, at a charity gala and offers to arrange an audition for a new Broadway musical. Sharpay packs her bags with Boi in tow and heads to the Big Apple to fulfill her destiny on Broadway. Her father has given her one month to make it to center stage, or else she will have to return home and learn the family business. However Sharpay’s dreams are turned upside down when she discovers the Broadway role is really for Boi, not her. Pushing her disappointment aside, Sharpay sets out to make Boi the most fabulous canine to hit the Great White Way.”
Don’t forget that Ashley is serving as executive producer of the movie along with Barry Rosenbush and Bill Borden – who both worked on the “High School Musical” movies. The screenplay for “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” was written by Robert Horn.

STUPID!!! SHE SHOULD HAVE STOPPED AT HIGHSCHOOL MUSICAL, SHES BRANCHING OUT NOW SHE TAKING A STEP BACK! IDK IT SEEMS A LITTLE FORCED!?! IF THEY WANTED TO MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE HIGH SHCOOL MUSICAL 5: College! lol… BUT WE ALL KNOW THATS NOT HAPPENING, SO THIS MAY ACTUALLY BE A GOOD LOOK FOR ALL THE KIDDIES THAT WANT MORE HIGHSCHOOL MUSICAL.
