Hollywood Records’ Allstar Weekend “Suddenly” Album Drops June 21, 2010

Not to be shown up by Miley Cyrus, whose album release date for “Can’t Be Tamed” has moved up a day, Allstar Weekend will also be releasing their album on Monday, June 21, 2010. Both Allstar Weekend and Miss Miley are signed to Hollywood Records – so what exactly is the record company avoiding by releasing the CDs on Tuesday, when new music is released each week?

The only large album we know of that is dropping on Tuesday, June 22nd is Eminem’s new album “Recovery.” Do you think Hollywood records is avoiding the 22nd because they don’t want to compete?
