Earlier today we told you guys about a tattoo that Demi Lovato had and we were wondering whether or not it was real – well, we got our answer!
Demi took to Twitter to answer a number of fans questions today, and she chose to answer one fans question about her new ink. Turns out it’s real! And here’s what it says:
‘you make me beautiful’ from Bethany Dillon’s song ‘Beautiful’.. That song changed my life.

Doesnt bother me because I believe she is mature and it won’t show unless she’s in a bikini, which is not often when she’s seen in one. Doesn’t change my being a superfan of hers.
BIG TATTOO but a tattoo doesn’t make her beautiful. She already was. google tattoo BIRTH DEFECTS, CANCER etc. in California by law since 2005 it’s required to warn everyone that they cause cancer, birth defects and reproductive harm and do permanent, continuous damage to a person’s health.
I love Demi. I just don’t understand why a beautiful girl like that feels the need to get a tattoo. It’s such a waste, and for nothing. Everybody seems to think that they need one these days, then they call it “self-expression” or some such rot. “I only got one because I wanted it.” Bull. You got one because everyone else did.
It’s not that I think badly of people who have tattoos. It’s just depressing to see that no one has any more respect for their bodies than that. Especially a bright, talented girl like Demi. And while it may be hidden, it’s just as disturbing to think of so many teenage girls letting some stranger draw on their usually-covered skin.
Im not really a fan of tattoos especially on beautiful women such as Demi but she is mature and can make decisions on her own. I kinda wish that she didnt get one but if it makes her happy then nobody should worry
So she got a tattoo of something that really inspired her nothing is wrong with that she didn’t just get something random. It was something that chaned her life. Taylor Swift wanted to get a tattoo of the number 13 because it’s her lucky number it’s not bad or anything.

I can understand that tattoo completely. Did any of you read the song? It is wonderful. A now permanant reminder that, even when she doesn’t necessarily feel like it, God made her beautiful. I don’t mind tattoos…as long as they aren’t pointless. This one has an actual purpose.

I personally think Demi should be able to get a tattoo when she wants without everyone making a big deal about it. She herself said Bethany Dillon’s song Beautiful changed her life. “You Make Me Beautiful” is from the song.

It is more dangerous laying in the sun with nothing on for 15+ minutes that getting a tattoo. I love her tattoo, it is meaningful and was a smart idea to chose words from a song.

It doesn’t matter how you view people…if you think poorly of someone with a tattoo,get over it, demi got it and she loves it. Its something that can help her out…people who struggles with eating disorders often feel alone and ugly and for demi to get a tattoo that says “you make me beautiful” is inspiring for anyone with a eating disorder or low self esteem. It helps her and it helps her fans that UNDERSTAND. Go ahead state you’re opinions away but who really cares…she is beautiful and sometimes when she looks in the morrior she wants to be reminded of it.
I think Demi is really mature. She can handle anything that she needs/has to. She is very inspiring and she does a great job on her show. This tattoo is nothing bad. I understand that it will always be there and that MAYBE Disney stars shouldn’t have tattoos but Miley Cyrus has one on her ear that says love and Selena is thinking of getting one so maybe Demi’s tattoo isn’t a bad thing.

I think demi is old enough to make her decision of her life. she is the one making it and what is the big deal of a famous person having a tattoo it her own body her own life and why does everyone has to make a big deal about it. it not like the tattoo is like on them. but this is her decision no one else and can’t anyone notice that their is more famous people having a tattoo so why worry that demi has a tattoo. that is just what i am saying

Why would you get a tatto demi? I could understand if the tatto was from a loved one that died but what is the point of getting a tatto relly? Why would you get one? Tattos are stupid and pointless. But my cousin got a tatto because someone important to her died and that isn’t bad but getting a tatto because you like a song? STUPID! When someone listens to your music they think wow what an amazing singer!
