Meaghan Martin and Maiara Walsh will be in the upcoming “Mean Girls 2” movie, which is about a new high school student named Jo (Meaghan) who befriends an outcast whose father promised Jo a free ride to college if she did so. Jo and Abby team up to take on the “Plastics” at the school, and the lead Plastic is played by Maiara.
Meaghan took to Facebook to let her fans know about her new role:
I won’t be going on [the Camp Rock 2] tour because I will be in Atlanta filming ‘Mean Girls 2!’ I will be playing the lead role of Jo!
As much as we’re bummed Meaghan wont be on the CR2 tour, we’re so excited to see her in “Mean Girls 2″!
