It was rumored that Miley Cyrus would be performing at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Soccer Closing Ceremony, however it is being reported that this is not the case.
E! reported Ken Baker took to Twitter to dispel the rumors:
So: Miley Cyrus will NOT perform at World Cup closing ceremonies..just didn’t work with scheduling. She’ll be in DETROIT shooting LOL.
That’s a bummer that she wont be performing, but we are really excited to begin learning more about Miley’s movie “LOL: Laughing Out Loud” with Demi Moore. You can learn a bit about the movie here.
