As early as this Fall, we may be able to watch movies at home that are playing in theaters at the same time. Viewers would pay between $20-$30 to rent the movie at home, which would be about the price a couple or a family would pay to go to the theaters and see the film.
According to reports, Time Warner Cable Inc is working on the new movie service and that the company has already pitched the idea to the Walt Disney Company’s Walt Disney Pictures as well as Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox.
It is expected that a trial run will take place before the real deal hits our television sets. The trial would include movies that are in theaters, but are not expected to be blockbuster hits so that studios do not get upset until it is proved that they can make money off the new service.

In a radio interview, M.I.A. took back her previous statement that Justin Bieber’s video was more offensive than her music video for her song “Born Free.” Here’s what she said previously:
I find the new Justin Bieber video more violent and more of an assault to my eyes and senses than what I’ve made.
We’re not sure what JB video M.I.A. was talking about, and it’s not clear if she was joking. But here’s what M.I.A. said recently about her previous statement:
I said I found his video offensive because people said my video was offensive, but I said it as a joke and it kind of got out of hand. I kind of feel bad, because I have some family members who love Justin Bieber, and now they won’t talk to me. I need my little cousins to talk to me.

It is being reported that Vanessa Hudgens has turned down a role in a “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” movie. Vanessa would have starred alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, who starred in the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” television show.
According to a source:
She felt that with Twilight still so massive, Buffy would not be the best option right now. The idea was to have Sarah back but with Vanessa as a fresh, new character. the project has been shelved for now.
