Fun Facts About Epcot’s The Seas With Nemo And Friends

If you travel to the Walt Disney World Resort on vacation and find yourself at the Epcot Theme Park you should be sure to check out The Seas With Nemo And Friends ride!

The ride in the location of the old ride Living Seas, which used to take guests on a simulated underseas adventure where they could view fish in the giant aquarium built at the park.

The same ride track is used, however now the carts have been turned into shells that riders sit in to go on an adventure through the aquarium where they are joined by the characters from Disney/Pixar’s movie “Finding Nemo.”

Before you are even seated on the ride if you look at the signage while standing in line you will see one sign that says “Daily Diving Departures” that are provided by “Nautical Exploration & Marine Observation” which spells out N.E.M.O. – fun!

Did you know that the saltwater aquarium at Epcot is the second biggest in the world? It was only beat out in 2005 by an aquarium built in Atlanta, Georgia.
