Katy Perry took to Twitter to clear up the rumors that she had called Miley Cyrus “The Next Britney Spears” after a run-in with the Disney star at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada in June. Katy Tweeted:
Rumor control: I never said sh** bout my girl Miley. I love that h*. Mags should stop pitting girls against each other. We all can co-exist!

Why did she wait so long to deny those rumors? The story’s been spreading for a week already. And who would have it out for her to make up such a statement? Remember Katy also claimed to be “the world’s biggest Lady Gaga fan” and yet that didn’t seem to stop her from making a pious and hypocritical statement there. You ask me she’s just trying to save whatever face she has left and quite frankly I think she also needs some serious help.
