Taylor Momsen Disses Disney And Miley Cyrus In One Quote
Yikes! Looks like 16-year-old Taylor Momsen, from “Gossip Girl,” is SO not interested in being compared to Miley Cyrus. Also, Taylor is NOT a fan of the Disney brand! Read what she had to say in the new issue of FHM UK:
I’m not looking to be Miley fu**ing Cyrus. I don’t care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride. I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum sh** that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression. I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly. People will be surprised by the record. I mean, it’s a rock record. I get that there is this blonde thing from Gossip Girl and they’re expecting pop sh**, but it’s a rock band and its heavy. Our record is a life record. It confronts everything head on. It’s death, love, drugs, sex, religion, politics.
Well it looks like she sure has an opinion…Thoughts?

This girl has taken a turn for the worst! She begins staring in Gossip Girl as a sweet and likable charecter and then got all whorish and crazy! Now it seems like her life is taking the same route? I’m confused how can a person change that much in a few years, I can’t tell if this is a phase and she will just stop being so over the top in a couple years or if she acts this way for attention. Either way the way she talks is atrocious and the way she feels like it’s okay to just cuss like that in public at her age is ignorant. Just like every other teenager in the world who thinks it makes them look cool(which I’m guilty of myself) if your in the public eye you need to put out a better image and not be so trashy. Not saying Miley has always made the choices but at least she knows how to talk in public.
Who the hell is this girl anyway? This is the first time I even heard of her. Look, I don’t care about Miley…but, that does not mean she can go around insulting Disney. Yea, sure…she can go around singing about sex and drugs…yea, she has a reeeeeally positive lifestyle…almost as positive as my sarcasm is. This girl is an idiot.

I think because she probably tried out for h.m. when she was like, 10 or 11, and she’s eighteen or something like that now, she’s old enough to realize that she might not have had the same future as if she had become h.m. she would be totally different if she was this cutesy actress instead of an (awesome) hard rock artist. Then again it doesn’t give her the right to diss what she could have turned into. i am really not on either of these sides. peace:)
@marie you don’t exactly know her so well i think everyone is entitled to their opinion. plus people at 16 are allowed to have a voice and an opinion. I mean I know i have a strong opinion on all those things, you have to know where you stand to be yourself. This just means she grew up fast and matured fast. I know I have because of home problems…know one knows everything about everyone, so who knows what made her gain an opinion so fast?
Ok before anyone else comments saying she can’t diss disney because she auditioned for this part – She admitted in an interview Hannah Montanna wouldn’t have succeeded if she got the part because at some point she would have told them to “go fuck themselves”.
