Angelina Jolie Wants To Play Maleficent In The “Sleeping Beauty” Remake Movie
Director Tim Burton has signed on to remake the Disney classic movie “Sleeping Beauty,” and from the beginning he has had his eye set on having Angelina Jolie play the lead character in his version of the movie, the villain Maleficent. Well, now it turns out Angie is interested in the role! She said in an interview:
I would love to. It’s all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favorite. Tim Burton, the chance to work with him would be extraordinary.
Fantastic! We can’t wait to see what Tim does with this movie, just like he remade the classic Disney movie “Alice In Wonderland” into a film that will be considered a classic on its own for years to come!
