All of the sudden back in March the band Metro Station ceased to exist, breaking up bandmates Trace Cyrus, Mason Musso (brother of Disney’s Mitchel Musso), Anthony Improgo and Blake Healy.
Well now it seems that the guys are in for a reunion of sorts, and it may get ugly.
Trace Cyrus, brother of Miley Cyrus, is in a legal battle with his ex-bandmates after referring to the groups’ music as “sh**.”
This may not have been an issue if Trace was solely a member of the group, but in fact Trace was also the president of the bands company Metrostation, Inc., and according to his former bandmates, he wasn’t good at the job!
Paperwork has been filed at the L.A. County Superior Court that states that Trace announced the band’s breakup without approval from the rest of the “shareholders,” which probably means the rest of the band members hadn’t agreed entirely to the breakup before it happened. The documents also state that Trace inappropriately Tweeted “That sh** was weak” about Metro Station’s music.
The paperwork that was filed argues that Trace should no longer be in the presidential position of Metro Station, Inc. and that he should relinquish control to the other members of the group. Apparently, even though Trace thinks Metro Station’s music is junk, he still wants to control it. Interesting.
What we also find interesting is that Trace specifically said when he announced the breakup that he would be releasing more music on his own, but where is it exactly? All we’ve seen from Trace is his arrogant clothing line “Southern Made Hollywood Paid,” which leads to the impression that he’s a Hollywood star, but somehow we’re just not seeing it.

Shouldn’t you be reporting with an open mind and not sound like your trying to trash someone? I also want to point out your source. TMZ is far from a good source. Trace held a webchat a few days ago telling everybody whats going on. This post sounds like you havent listened to his side of the story. I love this site and I would like it even better if the posts sounded alittle more professional, instead of like the person who wrote it has already sided against Trace.
I really don’t get Trace…he is so horrible! After those things he said about Ashley Tis and now this…and how proud and arrogant he is (thinking he’s some kind of huge superstar…when he is REALLY not!)… he seems like a really horrid guy. I don’t know why Demi dated him and I feel sorry for Miley to have a step brother like that!
oh and btw, he’s not even that nice to look at…why does he always flaunt that weedy chest of his? SOOO not hot. The other MS guys are way better…looks and personality wise!
i thought their music was great! trace cyrus always goes around extremely opinionated and i think that if he wanted to break up the band he shouldve gone quietly without saying anything bad about his friends/bandmates. they were a great band and he had no place to say that. it was not classy.
