Disney is working on a new live-action Muppets movie and has asked Pixar to help out. A team from Disney met with a team from Pixar at a table read for the film to throw around ideas, and it is expected that they will be helping through the entire movie-making process.

The Muppets movie, called “The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made” stars Jason Segel along with a number of everyone’s favorite Muppets’ characters and is due out in theaters in December 2011.

In the movie, the Muppets have to put on a show to save their beloved theater.
