According to reports, Disney will be investing $100 million into a new live-action, 3D movie based on the Disney movie “Mulan.” The new film will be produced by Zhang Ziyi, who also plans to star in the film.

Zhang Ziyi has been in a number of films, including “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and “House of Flying Daggers.”

The new Mulan film will follow a similar plotline to the animated Disney movie, where a female warrior dresses like a man in order to join the army in place of her father.
