Now that Ellen DeGeneres has left her job over at Fox’s American Idol, and Simon Cowell announced that last season would be his last, while Kara DioGuardi unexpectedly lost her position as a judge on the show this week, that leaves 3 openings for judges on the show.
Rumors have been flying about who would take the positions, and one of the names on the rumor list is former Disney star Justin Timberlake. Do you think Justin would make a good fit on AI?

For goodness sake, Justin’ rep already released a statement saying Justin was never in talks with Idol and is 100 percent not interested in being a judge. When do you think he’d have time to do that? The guy is already a workaholic between writing and producing music for other artists, acting, clothing line, restaurant, spokesperson for audi, givenchy, sony, golf tournament, directing, tequila line. Not to mention his lead guitarist Mike Scott said he’d be touring with the Justin Timberlake band probably next year which could mean he’s working on another album and just not saying.

David knows a lot about music, but being a judge is whether you become a joke or mean. He is so nice….
David would be an excellent judge in my opinion…he would be the kind, encouraging, supportive, confidence building one on the panel (they need at least one judge of that type). He’s been through it and knows exactly what you have to deal with. He’s also got the goods…fantastic talent,a passion for music and an amazing knowledge and appreciation of all types of music and genres. Don’t think he would be that interested though, think he would rather focus on other things right now. He’ll probably have an upcoming tour
this fall after his album is released in October as well. Can’t wait for that new album!!
I would love David on the show. but he is just too sweet and he wouldn’t want to say no’ to anyone.
I would love to see Archie!! You would never know what would come out of his mouth with his dry sense of humor!! Of course he would be the one with the positive comments…
I would LOVE to see David every week, but I don’t think he would do it. David has nothing bad to say about anyone.

David Archuleta would be a great one if they wanted their viewership to skyrocket again. Everyone would watch so as to see him.
However, I don’t think David would be a good judge. He’s wayyy too kind-hearted. I don’t think he could be straightforward enough about how well someone sang. He would be totally unable to tell them they stunk no matter HOW BAD they were. He’d be Ellen 2.0, lol.
The problem with Archie being a judge is that all the little girls from the audience would faint or let everyone else deaf from their cries!!! Cuteness overload!
Can’t imagine David would possibly have the time. But it would be great for the sinking AI. Bring David back in any capacity and the ratings will soar!!!! People will watch just to see David.
