The Walt Disney Company wants to buy Playdom Inc, one of the largest creators of online social games that fans can play on social networks including Facebook and MySpace.
According to reports, Disney is willing to pay as much as $400 million to $750 million to acquire the company – wow!
Does this mean that Disney will have more interactive games on their websites? Because that would rock!
On July 22nd Disney Star Selena Gomez turned 18 years old and celebrated in style with two very cool birthday cakes all about her! The first was comprised entirely of cupcakes and had a picture of Selena’s “Kiss & Tell” album cover on it – as you can see above where Selena is pictured with her mom and step-dad.
The second cake had all of Selena’s accomplishments embellished on it – making her feel like one super-special 18 year old as she blew out the candles!

It looks like Nicholas Sparks enjoys working with Disney stars – first casting Miley Cyrus in “The Last Song,” and now casting Zac Efron in “The Lucky One.”
Zac is currently in negotiations to play a former Marine in the film directed by Scott Hicks. Zac’s character would return from overseas to North Carolina where he begins searching for a woman in a photograph he found that he thinks was his good luck charm during the war.
Denise DiNovi will be producing the movie – she previously produced Nicholas’ other films “Message in a Bottle,” “A Walk to Remember,” and “Nights in Rodanthe.”
Vanessa Hudgens recently spoke out about wanting to get into fashion and someday design her own clothing line, but for now she told People Magazine that she plans on starting up a jewelry line before she designs any clothes:
I think that me and my girlfriend are going to start a jewelry line and then slowly work our way into fashion. It’ll happen but right now I want to focus more on film.
