Nathan Lane To Guest Star On ABC’s “Modern Family”
Actor Nathan Lane, the voice of Timon in Disney’s “The Lion King,” will be guest starring in an early episode of ABC’s “Modern Family” season two. Nathan will play the character Pepper, who is the flamboyant older friend of Mitchell and Cameron who was referenced last season.
Nathan got the role after approaching producers about it, however executive producer Steven Levitan said about future guest stars on the show:
We’re toning down on stunt casting; we don’t want to turn into a guest of the week. The audience loves our characters and we have enough of them.
