The Maliboomer tower ride at the Disney California Adventure park at Disneyland will be gone as of September 6, 2010. The ride shoots riders 180 feet up in the air in four seconds and then drops them back down.

According to a spokesperson for Disney California Adventure, the ride doesn’t fit with the new vision for Paradise Pier at the park, which is currently under renovation.
