On November 16, 2010, Disney Interactive Studios will be releasing “Disney Tangled: The Video Game.” The game will be available on Wii and Nintendo DS as well as be released for Windows/PC.
The video game is based on the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures movie “Tangled” set to release to theaters in November.
Craig Relyea, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for Disney Interactive Studios said about the game:
Disney Tangled: The Video Game is an exciting and fun experience for every member of the family. It allows fans of all ages to assume the role of the adventurous Rapunzel or the swashbuckling Flynn while experiencing the thrills and humor of the unlikely duo’s exploits.
The lead characters in the movie and the game, Rapunzel and Flynn, are voiced by Mandy Moore and Zach Levi.
Here’s a description of the game:
“In ‘Disney Tangled: The Video Game,’ players explore the world of the film and engage with its characters as they travel with Rapunzel and Flynn on an adventure-filled escapade jam-packed with challenges. As Rapunzel, players can use her hair to swing, climb, and rejuvenate. As Flynn, they can scale walls, engage in sword play, and use ‘Flynntuition,’ to discover treasure along the way. There is also a creative play feature in Rapunzel’s Tower where players can paint murals and more.”
