This is great news!
ABC has signed a five year deal with Peanuts Worldwide to play the PEANUTS Charlie Brown holiday specials, which include:
- “A Charlie Brown Christmas”
- “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving:
- “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”
The comics and specials were created by Charles M. Schulz and produced and animated by Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez. The specials have been airing on ABC since December 2001, so we’re glad the tradition will carry on for another five years!
Neil Cole, the CEO of Iconix Brand Group, said about the PEANUTS specials:
The PEANUTS holiday TV specials are iconic and represent a family tradition of watching Charlie Brown and the gang kick off the holiday season.
