Here is an international movie poster released for Walt Disney Pictures’ movie “Tangled,” which is set to release to theaters in the United States in November. From the look of the poster, the movie has retained the name “Rapunzel” internationally…we wonder why they changed it to “Tangled” in the US? Any thoughts?

How cool is it that you will soon be able to meet Rapunzel and her love interest Flynn Rider at the Disney parks? Let us know if you spot the “Tangled” characters at Walt Disney World or Disneyland!

  1. I recall Disney not being tooo thrilled about Princess and the Frog underpreforming at the box office. They blamed the fact that “princess” is in the title, so it turned off the boy audience. I think that the change to “tangled” from “Rapunzel” is an attempt to make it more boy-friendly… that’s also why, I think, the teaser centered around the prince.
