ABC’s “Modern Family” characters Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) are set to kiss during the second season of the show. After the characters didn’t kiss during the first season, fans of the show complained about the lack of PDA between the two partners.
One of the creators of the show, Steve Levitan, said about the upcoming kiss:
We’ve had an episode planned for a long time that dealt with that subject of [Cameron and Mitchell's PDA]. So it almost bothers us that there was a little bit of controversy about it. Because we don’t want to appear that we’re answering that criticism. But sure enough, we’re dealing with public displays of affection, and the power of a kiss. Seems simple, but intriguing—I hope.”
We can’t wait for “Modern Family” season 2 to start!
