As of today, September 3rd, Disney On Ice presents a new show based on Disney/Pixar’s “Toy Story 3” movie. The event will run in the US until 2012 when the show will travel overseas.
The show is produced by Feld Entertainment and opens today in Lakeland, Florida. The show will include 3D technology that will blend four separate images into one massive 3D projection using the entire surface of the ice to create oversized effects and scenic elements, which will work to alter the audience’s perception of scale.
Producer of the show, Nicole Feld, had this to say about Toy Story 3 on ice:

Just got to see this show today (September 26), and it was one of the best yet! The Disney on Ice shows just seem to get better and better every year. This one was colorful, comical, and just a blast!! I felt like a little kid again (and I’m 55 years old!).
