David Archuleta will be performing at the 2010 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon being held on Monday, September 6th. David took to Twitter to let his fans know the exciting news:
I’ll be singing a new song Things Are Gonna Get Better tomorrow night in the 10 PM PST hour for the Jerry Lewis MDA telethon.
We love that David is such a helpful celebrity and always uses his popularity for good!

I stayed up til almost 2 AM EST to watch David…the new song was awesome! And yeah…Disney needs to play Something ‘Bout Love…another AWESOME song! David has a heart of gold!
Wow – David Archuleta is just amazing. His song is so heartfelt and soulful.I already have David’s album preordered – I can’t wait to hear the whole album. And I really love his latest released single “Something Bout Love.”
David was amazing on the telethon and I loved the song he sang, “Things Are Going To Get Better”. David has so much love for other people and is always willing to give of himself. What an incredible example for all of us to follow. What a breath of fresh air from so many other less giving performers.

I have yet to figure out WHY David and his music are not carried on more radio stations. He has a sound and vibe that could fit into many different genres. I consider it a great loss for many who don’t know the beauty of the VOICE!

David Archuleta inspires everyone, young and old. His performance at the MDA was BEAUTIFUL!! The song which he co-wrote, “Things Are Gonna Get Better” is very inspirational and uplifting!

Wow I actually saw his performance and it brought me to tears! His gorgeous voice and the lovely touching lyrics went amazingly for this telethon. I love how he could’ve chosen to do his new single Something bout love but he chose to do something that could go more with what the people were going through. He is an amazing and sweet guy. Proud to be a fan!
