Interview With Lauren Mote From “Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue”

We got the chance to speak with actress Lauren Mote who voiced the character Lizzy in the upcoming Disney movie “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue” set to release to Blu-ray and DVD From Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment on September 21st.

The character Lizzy is the first human that Tinker Bell has ever met and their friendship in the animated movie is adorable to watch.

What made you decide to start acting

“I don’t know…it’s just something I’ve always wanted to do!”

What was the audition like for “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue”?

“The audition was just another audition because they didn’t tell us what it was for, they didn’t want to add any extra pressure. So it was only once I got the job that I knew what it was.”

What was it like voicing one of the lead characters in the new Tinker Bell movie?

“It was amazing. I’m so glad I had the opportunity because I love Disney!”

What was your favorite part about working on the new Tinker Bell movie?

“My favorite part was seeing the animation as I was recording it.”

Were you ever in the studio with any of the other actors?

“No I haven’t met anyone else.”

What is your favorite part of the movie?

“My favorite part of the movie, because it’s funny, I know it sounds horrible, but when Lizzy flies into the door!”

How do you relate to your character Lizzy?

“I relate to her because there’s something that you believe in, or you want to believe in, that nobody else understands. Like what Lizzy has with her dad. I think everyone has that something, that personal subject.”

Which Fairy in the movie do you relate with the most?

“I think I relate to Tinker Bell because she’s so adventurous and so mischievous, and I always get into bother, but as children you always end up doing something.”

Do you have any other projects you’re working on?

“Not at the minute.”

What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time?

“I like to watch television, surf the internet, play with my dog, my cousins and my friends.”

What is your favorite television show to watch?

“I love all of the Disney Channel shows!”

What is your favorite Disney Movie of all time?

“Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas”

Which Disney character is your favorite?

“Mickey Mouse and Cinderella”

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you want to travel to?

“Egypt to see the pyramids and the ancient buildings.”
