ABC’s “Private Practice” The Complete Third Season DVD Review

September 16, 2010 |  by

If you are a fan of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” but have never tuned in for the ABC drama “Private Practice” then now is your time to get caught up! Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has released the complete third season of the hit series to DVD.

The show was created by Shonda Rhimes, who was also the creator of “Grey’s Anatomy.” Actors in the show include:

- Kate Walsh
- Tim Daly
- Taye Diggs
- Amy Brenneman

“Private Practice” is similar to “Grey’s” but has more stories about babies and less graphic surgeries. However, don’t for a second doubt that there won’t be as much drama, excitement, heartbreak, and flourishing relationships on this medical show too!

Bonus Features on the DVD include:

- Kate’s Top Eight – Actress Kate Walsh shares her top eight favorite moments from Season Three
- Deleted Scenes
- Bloopers

We highly recommend getting into “Private Practice” if you haven’t already, and if you have then what better way to relive your favorite moments from the show than to watch it again on DVD! You will find yourself immersed in the characters lives – from their jobs to their personal adventures along with their friends, loved ones and co-workers. You will be rooting for them in their challenges and hardships and in the positive times in their lives and at their workplace.

If you like medical dramas than this is the show for you! We had watched all of the “Grey’s Anatomy” “Private Practice” crossover episodes, but had only seen a handful of the regular “Private Practice” episodes – but after watching the “Private Practice” complete third season DVD we are officially as addicted to the show as we are to “Grey’s”!

Let us know if you are a “Private Practice” fan or if the DVD converts you into one!

  1. I believe the wrong message was sent about Rape victims on the show Private Practice. Charlotte refused to be seen as a rape victim and consent to be treated and at the same time you had a commercial by the acctress Kadee telling the public the importance of seeking help.
    Poor message
