Before Kristen Bell made it big in the movies she starred on the hit TV series “Veronica Mars.” Now Kristen would like to bring the TV show to the big screen, but Warner Bros. is refusing to give up the rights!
While she was walking the red carpet for her new “You Again” movie premiere Kristen said she would even finance the movie herself if the studio would give her the rights:
At this point, Warner Bros. can make it but like any studio they have research that tells them whether or not they’ll make their money back. And that’s what we’ve been told: That it’s just not there. So my duty, because I wanted this movie made from the minute our show got canceled, is to a) do it before I’m 40; and b) to prove to Warner Bros. that there is an audience. You already have 3 million who watched it every week hardcore fans that will see it — you can only build from there.
We want them to make the movie! What about you?

COME ON WARNER BROS! LET KRISTEN BELL’S AWESOME SHOW BECOME A MOVIE!! This series acted like it had the makings of a great movie to begin with; seeing it turn into a movie would be AWESOME!
omg thats awesome! yes yes million times yes!! love that show i would make my sis recorded so i can see it many times! lol kristen bell was an awesome detective! and Enrico Colantoni was keith , veronicas father…. it was amazing have all three seasons! love the show hated that it was cancelled hope they make a movie and would love the series back!
I would LOVE to see the movie. Watched the show and was disappointed when it was canceled. I think the movie would be very successful.
