Hilary Duff recently married Mike Comrie who has shipped away from her to gear up for the hockey season with his team, the Penguins, in Pittsburgh.
Here’s what Hilary had to say about their time apart:
He left too soon. Now he’s gone and I’m alone and it’s like, ‘What? I’m alone? Why am I alone right now, I’m a newlywed!’ We’re so used to traveling and being apart and making it work long distance that I’m not worried about it at all.
So will Hilary be flying out to watch some of her husband’s hockey games? She’ll be busy soon promoting her first novel, titled “Elixir.” Here’s what she had to say:
I’m going to fly to Pittsburgh for [Comrie's] first game and then I’m going to New York to start the tour. I think we’re going to eight or nine cities in two weeks, which is hard. Then I’m going to come home and start writing the follow up book right away so I’ll be busy for the next couple months.

Selena Gomez appeared on the 5:19 show this month where the host of the show had to guess the answer to a number of questions about Selena. For every question the host of the radio show got wrong another gross ingredient was added to a smoothie that he would have to drink at the end of the show! Yikes!

Last year Taylor Swift donated $75,000 to her old high school, Henderson High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and in response the school named its auditorium after her.
The school’s principal, Joni Worsham, said that the auditorium’s new name was
an honour benefiting [Swift's] generous spirit.
That’s so awesome!
Selena Gomez recently opened up in an interview about the importance of the UNICEF charity she is involved in and how everyone should try to be involved in helping children around the world in any way that they can. Selena is so passionate about the work that she does and the fact that she is a UNICEF ambassador at just 18-years-old is such an inspiration for the rest of us.
