New ABC Show About “Romeo & Juliet”

ABC is working on developing a new show about the classic Shakespeare story “Romeo & Juliet.” The show will be about two lovers who are torn apart by their feuding families.

The shows’ pilot is set to be written by Andrea Berloff while the show will be executive produced by Todd Garner, Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen. The show may be directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
